In 1997, Mauricio Rosales and his father purchased a piece of land of about 21.84 hectares to start their farm, Finca La Maravilla. At the time, there were hardly any roads, buildings, or electricity in the area. This did not stop them from achieving their goal, and they have grown to become excellent coffee producers, winning 9th place at the 2014 Cup of Excellence.
