A new star has risen from the iconic Hario series created in collaboration with Mr. Tetsu Kasuya, the winner of 2016 World Barista Championship. 

If you walk into Japanese classic kissatens you would often see a "master (barista)" slowly brewing coffee using a cloth filter.

Cloth filter brew called "nel (flannel)-drip" is considered one of the best brewing techniques to bring the best out of coffee. The fabric-made filter with its mesh lets all the goodness of coffee including coffee oil through, while catching micro powders, produces a rich, mild yet clean cup free of sediments.

While cloth filter brew achieves so much desirable elements in coffee brewing, it is a little tricky to maintain- the filter requires a lot of attention and care. This Double Stainless Dripper was designed to take the upsides of the cloth filter brew but made in stainless steel, while maintaining the benefits of metal filter.

The shape resembles that of flannel filter to maximize the coffee-water contact time;  double layered filter catches micro powder, but the carefully positioned holes won't inhibit the smooth water flow. You will get a rich, mild yet clear cup just like the cup brewed with a flannel filter.
